Hola! My name is Diana Mariana Rivera Vera. I’m 21 years old and I am from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Living there inspired me to take in the beauty of the world and appreciate the things that make this world special. I wanted to share and expand my vision with others so I decided to go to Fairfield University where I major in Film & TV. Going to school these last four years has made me realize how storytelling is a powerful tool that helps us connect with one another. One of the best memories from my childhood was when my sisters and I would sneak our bed mattreses into our parents room while they were watching TV. When they walked into their room we would fake sleep so that they wouldn’t kick us out, but now they tell us that they always knew we were awake.
